Geoffresh IHP Beer Reviews

This music video was the most recent one for Geoffresh Imperial Hawk Productions. It was made on request by one of Geoffrey's Friends- John. It was made to a song that was very special to him and his girlfriend at the time.

When the request was made many years ago, I was not too sure what I wanted to do with this project. I did know that it was for a friend and that I wanted to show a possible future of a relationship. So I decided to use the anime Rurouni Kenshin as my base for the video. I had recently come across the new director's cut version of this anime and decided to use the new remastered scenes for the video. The lyrics of this song "butterfly" speak of a samarai so it did fit the anime slightly. I did not want to show any fighting in this music video so I kept all the scenes to peaceful scenes. I wanted to show that the anime Rurouni Kenshin could have a peaceful tone to it, instead of having fight scenes ever so often.

Also, on another note, I am not sure if anyone has caught this but the video was not compiled digitally. It was actually made on a computer in it's digital form and then transfered to VHS and then back to digital again. This was done as a test to see how the video quality could handel the transfers from different media sources.
